SBE: SBAR

Overview
S Bar, part of SBE Hospitality Group, had new menu items and needed updated photo, video, and b-roll to show them off. The brief called for two kinds of content: hero shots of the food and drinks, and lifestyle imagery with talent and models to show the experience around them

The Challenge
The new menu had no creative assets to promote it. S Bar sits inside a multi-venue hospitality group, so the content had to be produced quickly without lowering the quality bar a brand at this level expects.
The Impact
SMC took creative control from start to finish. Research came first: the team studied the brand, its ethos, and what is trending and relevant right now, and used that to direct the look, which was high-end luxury hospitality with the food and beverage styled and shot to match. SMC cast three models, sourced the wardrobe, and led creative direction, and everything was captured in a single three-hour shoot window. The on-set team included a creative director, a key grip, two videographers, a photographer, and the three models, so photo, video, and b-roll were all captured in the same window.
The Result
The shoot produced 65 photos, 3 social reels, and 120 b-roll clips. That gave S Bar a full library of hero product and lifestyle content for the new menu, which is now live and gives their team content to draw on for the next few months of marketing. SMC’s scope was creative production, so the numbers here are the assets delivered, not social performance.
